Microstructure Design and Interface Engineering in Advanced Filters for High-Efficient Nanoscale Particle Separation

Prof. Zhong  is a professor of Chemical Engineering at the Nanjing Tech University.  His primary research focus is on the novel membrane and filter materials, airborne particulate matters removal and VOCs control.

Prof. Zhong obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering at the Nanjing Tech University in 2007. He has led more than 20 projects including The National Key R&D Projects, The National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Support Project, and Jiangsu Outstanding Youth Fund Project.

He was also a visiting scholar of Monash University, Australia from 2012 To 2013. He is on the youth editorial board of Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering and the editorial board of Membranes. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, applied and been granted  more than 40 Chinese patents and 6 international PCTs. He has won many honors including the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Jiangsu Province (2020), the First Prize of Chinese Membrane Industry Association in Science and Technology (2018), the Sinopec Youth Outstanding Contribution Award (2017), the Hou Debang Chemical Technology Youth Award (2018), and the Second Prize of National Technology Invention (2014).

Research Interest: Novel membrane and filter materials, airborne particulate matters removal and VOCs control.
