Michael Wynblatt, Chief Technology Officer for Donaldson, has over 20 years' experience in innovation and the commercialization of new technologies and ideas. At Donaldson, Michael leads the technology strategy for the enterprise, and as well as the centralized engineering teams, which include Advanced R&D, Modeling and Simulation, Data Science, Innovative Business and Laboratory services. Prior to joining Donaldson, Michael was Vice President of Innovation and Emerging Technologies at Ingersoll Rand, where he developed and deployed an innovation system consisting of processes, tools and training programs to improve innovation capability. While under Michael's leadership, Fortune Magazine acknowledged Ingersoll Rand as the #9 most admired company for innovativeness, on the same list as Google, Apple and Amazon. Previously, Michael served as Vice President of the Innovation Center at Eaton corporation, and as Chief Technology Officer at Siemens Technology-to-Business Center, which he co-founded. Michael's teams have brought numerous innovations to market, winning a number of recognitions, including: Design News' Golden Mousetrap Award, Inc 500's Fastest Growing Companies, Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, Postal Technology's Automation Technology of the Year, Red Herring's Global 100, R&D Magazine's R&D 100, and the EE Times' Silicon 60. Michael holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Stony Brook University, and a BSE in computer engineering from the University of Michigan.
