Deadlines

• Friday, July 29 - Presentation deadline
• Friday, July 29 - Manuscript deadline for Congress proceedings
• Saturday, August 6 - Registration deadline for the discounted fee
• Friday, August 27 - Hotel reservation deadline to receive the group rate based on availability

Presentation Requirements

Use the 16:9 format and not 4:3 format.  The widescreen format will be supported by the AV team.  Presentations must be technical and void of commercialism. Presenters must use the PPT template that was provided with your confirmation in May.  Contact Lyn Sholl if you need the template again.  Only book your hotel room through the official online booking link

Manuscript

Conference proceedings will be available to full congress registrants and will be available for purchase following the congress.  Manuscripts are required for technical presentations.  Manuscripts should be between 4 - 15 pages.  See WFC 13 Proceeding paper template & instructions.  Please also view the proceedings paper sample.

Conference Registration, Hotel Reservations, and Travel

Speakers are given a reduced conference registration fee and are required to register for the congress.  Registration is open.  Register by the regular registration deadline of Saturday, August 6 to avoid paying a higher registration fee. 

All congress activities will take place at the beautiful Hilton Bayfront in San Diego.  Please be aware of unauthorized hotel booking agents.  No one from the WFC 13 or AFS office will call you to make your reservations.  There are companies that are doing this - do not book your room through these agents as they are a scam.  Book your hotel reservation through the official hotel reservation link only.
